Grace Church belongs to the United Brethren in Christ Church, Canada. Our statement of faith is naturally in line with them. Here are the important highlights of our Statement of Faith
- About God:
We believe in one real God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are united as one. God made everything, keeps it going, and looks after it all. - About Jesus:
Jesus is both fully God and fully human. He was born to Mary through the Holy Spirit. He’s the Savior for everyone who trusts Him. Jesus died for us, came back to life, went up to heaven, and now speaks up for us with God. One day, He’ll return to judge everyone. - About the Holy Spirit:
The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son. He comforts us and helps us understand what’s true. - About the Church:
We believe in the worldwide Christian church, the connection between all believers, that our bodies will be raised at the resurrection of the dead, and that we’ll live forever. - About the Bible and Salvation:
The Bible (both Old and New Testaments) is God’s Word and shows us how to be saved. Every Christian should accept it as their guide, with help from the Holy Spirit. To be a true Christian, you need faith in Jesus, real repentance, forgiveness, and a life that follows Him. - Sharing the Message:
We believe the Bible’s message—how humanity fell and how Jesus saves us—should be shared everywhere with everyone. - Practicing Our Faith:
We believe Christians should practice baptism and remember Jesus’ suffering and death in the Lord's Supper. How these are done is up to each person and we shouldn’t judge others who do things differently.
