GALCOM is another ministry that the Grace Church Mission Team supports - we also visited them at their site in Hamilton. Their name comes from the Hebrew word "Gal" - which means to commit, and "com" is short for communication. Their name is an indication of their committment to communicating the gospel world wide. For complete details, please click on the GALCOM logo above.

Christian Salvage Mission - is a ministry that Grace Church supports in an on-going fashion. We took a trip to their operation in Hamilton and discovered how their ministry works. CSM gathers bibles and all types of Christian literature and sends them overseas - where these things are unavailable. Their theme is "Gathering the fragments that nothing may be lost." John 6:12. The entirety of their work is run on donations. If you would like to help -you can save your used postage stamps, (cut them off the envelope and leave 1/4" border,)-bring them into the church, along with your used christian books/bibles etc...and we will pass it along to them.

SOME OF THE PLACES AND PEOPLE WE SUPPORT WITH THE MISSION FUNDS ENTRUSTED TO US:
The Glunts are a part of an international team - The US, Hong Kong, and Honduras, ministering to Thai Buddhists in the city of Chiang Rai. The UB Team will develop deeper friendships with local ethnic Thais in a variety of ways: teach classes, host community events, and offer neighborhood hangout times for retirees, young moms and teens.
HAITI: 28 Churches
United Brethren work in Haiti began when Rev. Oliam Richard, a Haitian minister thn living in Paris, France, learned about the United Brethren church through the UB website. He was supervising a group of churches in Haiti and wanted to find a group for them to affiliate with. Contacts were made. In October 2000, UB Global decided to launch into Haiti. Rev. Richard moved back to Haiti to personally supervise the Haitian churches. For many years, the Haitian churches were a mission district under the supervision of the UB Church in Canada. In 2019, they officially organized as a national conference.

People who come to Canada to seek asylum often have very few resources and little understanding of the complexities of our refugee determination system in Canada. The staff at Matthew House assists individuals and families with their many needs of navigating the immigration, health and settlement systems in Canada. Each new guest is treated with dignity and respect as they receive the guidance and advice which will give them the best chance for a successful future in Canada.
South Niagara Life's initial vision was to offer Supportive Services to assist those with an unplanned pregnancy. Today crisis and practical services have evolved at South Niagara Life Ministry to serve in all sorts of life crisis, issues, and problems to address area gaps and needs for services. Since SNLM's conception in 1992, requests for help increasingly come from all corners of the region and across our North American border, usually by word of mouth and/or referrals. All services are free - as sustained by area donations and sponsored events.
